The sixth of the ten wisdom goddesses is the goddess Chinnamasta. She is also known by numerous other names, including Prachanda Chandika, Jogani Maa, and Chinnamastika. One of the ferocious manifestations of Supreme Mahadevi is the goddess Chinnamasta. Maa Chinnamasta is depicted standing atop a copulating pair in her iconography. She is naked, with a scimitar in one hand and her own severed head in the other. Her dismembered head erupts in three jets of blood. Two of her female maids, Varini and Dakini, are shown savoring the other two jets of blood, while one jet is seen dropping in her own severed mouth. She is depicted donning a sacred thread, a serpent, and a garland of skulls.
